3RD SEASON COMPANY MEMBER

Allison McKinney started dancing at a young age in her hometown of Aberdeen, SD. She moved to the mountains to continue her dance training at The University of Montana, where she graduated in 2013 with a BFA in Dance. During her studies, she was selected to work with guest artist Susan Marshall & Co and guest artists Brian Gerke and Steinunn Ketilsdottir, whose piece, “MEAT," took Allison and others to The Kennedy Center to perform for ACDFA. Allison also spent time in the schools teaching and performing with The CoMotion Dance Project (Missoula) before and after graduating. 

Following graduation, she danced with Headwaters Dance Co (Missoula) and joined Bare Bait Dance for their third season. She has danced with BBD off and on over the years and is excited to step back in for another season. When Allison isn't dancing, she can be found teaching at Main Street Pilates or trying to keep up with her three energetic boys.
