Guest Performance Residencies

WITH THE GOAL OF PRODUCING EXCEPTIONAL DANCE FOR WESTERN MONTANA, BARE BAIT DANCE CREATED GUEST PERFORMANCE RESIDENCIES (GPR).

While Missoula can brag of many wonderful qualities, as artists and audiences, we can be rather isolated. GPRs provide a much needed view into the world of contemporary dance outside of Western Montana. Residencies last from 1-2 weeks and combine performance, teaching, and direct artistic dialogue with our audiences. These residencies augment our already robust local performance offerings.

Our GPR program is currently working in collaboration with GLUE, directed by Nicole Wolcott and based at Triskelian Arts (Brooklyn, NY), to cultivate residency relationships and bridge artistic communities.
