1ST SEASON COMPANY MEMBER

Hannah Dusek is a dancer, choreographer, and performer. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Hannah trained in the pre-professional company Beyond Words Dance Company, for eight years, under the direction of Kate Jablonski, who significantly impacted the dancer she became. After graduating from the company, she moved to Missoula, Montana, to pursue dance at the University of Montana. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Choreography and Performance and her Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Biology in May of 2023.

Hannah has gotten some amazing performance opportunities through Jablonski. In July of 2022, once again under the direction of Jablonski, Hannah had the opportunity to travel to Šibenik, Croatia, as a part of the Kate Jablonski Statement. She performed in the Šibenik Dance Festival alongside companies from Hungary, Israel, and other parts of Croatia.

In addition to the excitement around being a first-year company member of Bare Bait Dance, Hannah is also a co-founder of a new dance collective in Missoula, Kinetic Convergence Dance. She feels so lucky to be so heavily involved with the incredible arts community in town. 

Hannah is thrilled to continue her choreographic and performance journey as a member of BBD under Joy’s mentorship alongside some of her best friends. She is beyond grateful for this opportunity and can’t wait to see what this season brings for her!
