3RD SEASON COMPANY MEMBER

At the age of three, Ruby began her exploration of dance by dancing in her mother’s studio in Polson, Montana. In high school, she trained at Northwest Ballet Company until moving to Albuquerque, New Mexico, where she spent two years dancing as a junior company member of DXS Dance Company. Ruby now holds a BFA in choreography and performance from the University of Montana, where her senior dance film “Thorazine” was selected to be featured in ACDA’s Screendance Festival gala concert. In 2021, Ruby was awarded Best Choreography at Team Dance National Dance Competition. In addition to choreography, performance, teaching, and collaboration, Ruby is passionate about creating an inclusive space that encourages people of all abilities to share the joy of movement. She has taught movement therapy at HEARTism Community Center (Corvallis, MT). 

Ruby is thrilled to be dancing professionally for her third season with Bare Bait Dance.
